Susanna Stephens, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst with 15 years of clinical experience. She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The Derner Institute for Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University and her B.A. from Vassar College in Psychology and French. She has received advanced training in psychoanalysis from the Institute for Psychoanalytic Training and Research and completed a three-year fellowship through the Rita Frankiel Memorial of the Melanie Klein Trust.
In addition to maintaining a private practice, Dr. Susanna Stephens has presented at conferences and taught through the New York University Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. Her essays have been published in ROOM: A Sketchbook for Analytic Action and DIVISION/Review, among other places.
